
Ceramic fiber wool is a silica-based man made mineral fiber (MMMF), which is very similar to fiberglass, shown here in a 5 year old oven. Notice the white dust laying at the bottom of the oven next to the broiler pan. I think we ate these fibers for dinner.

As I was bent down taking these pictures my lungs tightened with a dull ache and my eyes began to burn.

When we cook with the oven the air quality in the house gets bad. The oven is only 5 years old.
